Don't try tweakbios. We shouldn't have anything in the BIOS, unless the card requires its own IRQ.lukaru wrote:...problem may be in how bp6 handle PCIs. something is wrong or maybe it is due to dual processor layout (something was limited in bx chipset)? yet i do not know what that damn card needs! maybe it can be achieved in tuning in bios (first some hidden options should be unhid i guess). i downloaded tweakbios utility but im yet afraid to use this. anybody tried playing with it?.
What PCI or AGP card, is in which PCI slot?

I still think it's a driver/OS issue. And the only device that would be listed in the "BP6 Incompatible Devices" would be the onboard HPT366lukaru wrote:i did it and to no success
i'm lucky enough my sister wants to buy a card. maybe there should be done a list of bp6 uncompatible devices?
ps. i have another problem (ehhh). it seems as if my win2000 does not want me to have administrator privilages so i cannot install cpu coolit never happened to me so i do not know what is wrong. any help would be appreciated! (if this is off list - my email is lukaru@wp.pl

Well, when you extract the files there should be a folder called "Driver" with DLLs, CATs, INFs, and SYS files. You then need to go into the hardware management screen, then into the properties of the Aver hardware and select update driver. Point the driver update window to the "Driver" folder you extracted earlier.
