This is a common problem with many BP6 systems. There is no clear solution to the problem & most of us have just learned to live with it.

Very True. However, it seems to happen much more often when the BP6 is being overclocked. Are you overclocking your BP6?

One other question, are using a power supply that came with your case?

It should be but some power supplies that come with the case, are cheap. Do you know the manufacturer of the power supply?

If possible, you may want to try another PSU. Maybe a friend has a spare one you could try. Or, if you can purchase another PSU somewhere that will return hardware without restocking fees (that way you could try another PSU, see if it solves your problem. If not, just return it). Another way to determine if this problem is related to your PSU; run the BP6 with in a minimal configuration. If the minimal configuration works, adding components back into the system one at a time could help you determine which PSU voltage circuit is being dogged. You'll know what which PSU voltage circuit (+3.3, +5, +12, etc.) needs more power for your system if you get another PSU.

dude

what settings did he change?

mine does this occasionally (i rarely ever turn it off) and i have an Antec 400Watt PSU

so i know it's not my PSU (besides i have an AT PSU powering half of my drives)
