It would be a raid fasttrak 100 card with a small modification.....

Put the CDROM device for booting on the ATA33 1st Channel/as Master & make sure the it's jumpered for Master. Confirm that the CMOS setup for 1st BOOT Device is set to CDROM. Set the BIOS for AutoDetect this device. Confirm BIOS load detects the drive as ... CDROM. If the drive can read the boot info on the CD, it should boot. Have another bootable CDROM to test with?
If this fails, use a Win98 startup disk to initialize the drive with generic drivers. Then change to that drive letter & run the setup from it.
