did you check for bad caps?

also are you overclocking?

if so.. dro pthe voltage back to around normal.


the way to know whether or not it's the socket or CPU

take one cpu and insert it into one slot at a time until you get a POST

then.. swap the cpu's out

then you'll know... if the 2 cpu's work in one slot.. but not the other... then you know you got a problem

if only one cpu will post.. and will post in both slots.. then it's the CPU
